Important Dates

                           April 30, 2009    – 2008 Tax Returns due, also taxes owing for self- employed

                           June 15, 2009    – 2008 Tax Returns due, if you or your spouse are self-employed.

                          - 2nd installment for 2009 taxes due

                           September 15, 2009   - 3rd installment for 2009 taxes due

                           December 15, 2009   – 4th installment for 2009 tax returns

                           December 31, 2009    – payments made in order to be creditable/deductible for tax purposes. Some common examples

                                                                      include  Childcare expenses, Professional/ Union dues, Charitable donations, Alimony                                                                                                       &  Child Support,  and Medical expenses 

                           March 1, 2010    - last day to contribute to your RRSP for your 2009 Tax Return

                           March 15, 2010  – 1st installment for 2010 taxes due 

 

 

And don’t forget to keep your receipts for 6 years after you file your return.
